Quite a big amount of changes actually, but most should not be noticeable. Some more refinements and checks for the create installationfile batches. And quite a lot of refinement for the styles. The biggest is that POI are now visible in much lower resolutions – if they are important. I don't know wether this works perfectly also on Oregon/Dakota/Colorado, it works as in Mapsource on "old" GPS. Therefore I too had to adjust the TYPFiles. So if you used custom TYPfiles, you should completly takeover the POI section (have a look in SVN). Also again reworked naming of boundaries and avoiding of ferries also if part of a cycle/mtb route. On top some POI were dropped which I corrected.

No changes to the maps (and also mkgmap development being very quiet last week), but new installers/uninstallers that check more things so less chance to do something wrong. Also no more need to move contourlines to seperate folder. Adding them to normal map folder and then running create_mapsource…. .bat is enough now.

New batch file: create_mapsource_installationfiles_with_mkgmap.bat that recreates address index when merging contourlines. Needs Java JDK installed, and newest mkgmap.jar inside folder of batch.
Otherwise only one tiny bugfix regarding motorways/trunk roads being routable…

Map updates corrects bug of routing somtimes being broken when using shorter distance (cycleroutes on bridges, or in combination with cycleway=opposite/both/…). Also makes cities searchable by german, english, local and international name. Made bigger tiles for Netherlands and Denmark. Delete all tiles before updating any of the two countries (or you have some leftovers, that would make create_gmapsupp or create_mapsource_installationfiles go strange).

New rcn_ref cycle nodes are inside the map (important for the Netherlands). Searchable via marine objects, navigation aid. Also trails tagged with mtb:scale or mtb:scale:uphill are rendered in resolution 21. Due to some recent changes in mkgmap some oneway combinations are broken, so routing might be a bit worse than before. Also some downhill only trails are corrupted. On the other hand maps now have blue sea and I had to adapt the typfile for some polygons. mtb:scale is now by default in the classic typfile not mapped, you can change the color yourself if you wan't to highlight them.

Well mtb:scale:uphill and incline are still missing from JOSM, but here is the style nevertheless http://openmtbmap.x-nation.de/maps/beta/

After popular request I will now try to publish new maps on Thursday night (well next week lets see). For this update the main change is that avoid toll is only blocking very difficult ways. Avoid Unpaved roads, avoids unpaved (but not very difficult) ways. So you can use both or only one… Also taxi and emergency are changed around (next map update will make use of avoid carpool lanes, therefore I had to change them around). Also avoid ferries does work now (and will avoid ferrys and cablecars/gondolas/mixed lifts).

I just noticed that the e-mail address somehow got crunched by the the plugin I was using. So if you sent money to f.hartmann@imc-krems.ac I cannot claim this money cause the ending is wrong. As the e-mail address does not exist login to your Paypal account and click the History tab to view your transaction history. Find the payment and click the Cancel button (this is only possible because that account does not exist at Paypal). If you don't cancel the payment will be reversed to your account 30 days after payment (so in 27-30 days), Then resend the donation to extremecarver @ gmail .com (following link is correct now)
