Neu, rcn_ref Fahrradknotenpunkte inkludiert (etwa Holland), suchbar ueber Marineobjekte –> Navigationshilfen. Trails mit mtb:scale oder mtb:scale:uphill nun zusaetzlich in resolution 21. Da in mkmgmap beim style-file reading deutliche Aenderungen gemacht wurden, und zurzeit nicht zuverlaessig funktionieren, fehlen ein paar Einbahnstraßensymbole (nur wenn Fahrradfahren in Gegenrichtung erlaubt ist), sowie einge Downhillpfeile fehlen. Ich hoffe das dies bald im mkgmap wieder korrigiert wird. Da die Aenderungen am Style-file recht groß waren, kann ich zurzeit nicht auf die alte Version zurueckgehen. Ausserdem ist das Meer nun großteils blau (teils fehlen Stuecke, da diese aus den Laenderausschnitten von Geofabrik nicht mehr wiederherstellbar sind).

Thanks for the rcn_ref cycle nodes. Too bad there’re only two digits shown while most of the Belgian cycle nodes have three digits.
I tried with three digits, but it would not be displayed nicely anymore (at least on vista hcx/edge 705/mapsource 6.13.x // mapsource 6.15.7 was okay). Are Belgian cycle nodes three digits from 100-999?
Unfortunately not. Cycle nodes numbering is from 1-999.
Well, numbers get to squished together. I tried to to it for 3 digits, but it looks really bad, and Mapsource as well as older GPS cut off at the sides. I have another idea, for implementing this – by using highway symbols. Maybe in Future it will look nicer…

I have installed the new release of the maps but a lot of paths are not shown They are there, since they are gathered in a relation/route and this relation is visualized on the map; it seems that whenever there is a foot=yes and horse=yes the path is not shown, while if there is a bicycle=yes or no tag the path appears on the map.

If I use an older typ file, the whole map turns blue, and the paths still do not appear.

I have the same problem with some ways I have been working on. It seems that the new mkgmap version is more sensitive to tagging errors/contradictions than previous versions.
e.g. a track was tagged with bicycle=yes, foot=yes, mtb:scale=0 but the most important tag of all “highway=track” was not present.
Formerly – in openmtbmap before release 22.01.2009 (also in mapnick and osmarender) the track was shown nonetheless.
I fixed the missing tags and I am now waiting for the next openmtbmap release to see whether the problem still occurs.

Yes and I cannot find any error or contradiction, at least in the linked area. Maybe mkgmap finds contradictory a path with foot, bicycle and horse all “=yes”?
Will be fixed in the next update. Mkgmap style-handling got reverted again (mainly because I found it too buggy, and certain things were not possible anymore, as well as drop in performance).
Auch bei mir keine Entpackprobleme (7Zip) und das Routing ist auf gewohnt hohem Niveau. Mir ist aber aufgefallen, dass parking_aisle anders umgesetzt wird, als in den Map Features vorgeschlagen.
Ich verstehe nicht was genau anders. Ist eh erst in resolution 24.
So wie ich die Map Features verstehe, wird highway=service + service=parking_aisle empfohlen (wird so z.B. auch in Mapnik gerendert). Du verwendest dagegen highway=parking_aisle.
ups, wird korrigiert zu naechstem Update. Da hab ich wohl eine veraltete Version gehabt als ich den Key eingetragen hab, oder war schlampert.
Bei mir keine Probleme mit dem Entpacken. Ich nutze aber auch schon immer 7zip.

O.K. Funktioniert jetzt, nachdem ich das Paket jetzt nochmal downgeloadet habe und neu
installiert habe. Was mir aber auffällt, wenn ich unter Mapsource unter “kürzlich gesuchte Orte gehe, dann hängt sich MapSource (6.13.6) mit einem Errorcode 1 komplett weg.
(unter WinXP SP3) Das war vorher nicht. Kann das jemand nachvollziehen?

Ich glaube du hast einen generellen Mapsource Fehler gefunden. Passiert auch bei Garmins eigenen Karten. Mapsource stuerzt dann ab bei mir, wenn ich einen Punkt anklicke den ich mit einer anderen Karte gefunden habe. Wenn der Punkt mit derselben Karte gefunden wurde, kein Absturz. Oder stuerzt es bei dir generell ab?
Bei mir hängt sich MapSource beim anklicken des Menueintrages schon weg …..
Ich werde das noch auf einen anderen Rechner ausprobieren.
Gerade nochmal probiert. Auf zwei Notebooks mit WinXP SP3 und der letzten MTBNAVI-Karte auf dem einen, und der OpenMTBMap vom 24.12. auf dem anderen funktioniert es einwandfrei.
Auch mit der Garmin-Topo Karte. Allerdings beides mal mit MapSource 6.13.7 !!!
Vielleicht hat ja nur die 6er den Bug …..

So, letzter Versuch. Ich habe upgedatet auf 6.13.7 mit der aktuellen Karte von hier.
Der Fehler bleibt. Entweder liegt es an der Karte, der unterschiedlichen Hardware,
oder man muss MapSource vielleicht ganz neu und sauber installieren.
Dazu habe ich im Moment aber keine Lust …..
