I habe nun alles Files in die .exe gesteckt. Diese kann wie gewohnt mit 7zip entpackt werden, oder direkt installiert. Alle .exe und .bat files sind untereinander kompatibel. Man kann also mit .exe installieren, und mit .bat arbeiten. Mit dem .exe Installer können jedoch noch keine typfiles ausgewält werden, hier wird immer auf classic gesetzt (egal was vorher installiert war). Ich weiß nicht wirklich wie ich hier eine Abfrage implementieren kann.
Dazu habe ich für sehr viele POI den Type gewechselt, sprich wer ein .TYP-file angepasst hat, muss zumindest die POI Sektion neu reinkopieren. Ich hoffe hierdurch werden nun auf Oregon/Dakota, evtl sogar Nuvi alle POI angezeigt. Bis die Updates hochgeladen sind (also heute Nachmittag), werden einzelne Ländern noch nicht downloadbar sein, da ich die alten Downloads gelöscht habe.

um unnötigen Download-Traffic zu vermeiden, wäre es sicher hilfreich, wenn bei den zahlreichen Downloads (insbesondere den Karten) das Datum der Aktualisierung steht.
Dann hat man eine hilfreiche Info, ob es sich lohnt, eine "neue" Version zu laden.
Und natürlich ein großes Lob für die Arbeit, die dieses Projekt macht und vielen zugute kommt !
Es ist immer oben rechts das letzte Update ersichtlich, oder am Server. WordPress hat da keine bessere Möglichkeit

Seit neustem werden alle Dowloadkarten mit den neuen Installer(exe.)
von Norton Anti Virus unter Quarantäne gestellt.
Ist sehr nervig die Karten nach dem blocken wieder herzustellen.
Hat einer ähnliche Erfahrung?
Naja, Norton würde ich sowieso sofort deinstallieren. Kannst dich ja bei Norton beschweren

Ich bekomme immer obige Fehlermeldung. Gleiches bei einem Freund. Beim Firefox, IE8 sowie beim Google Chrome. Wenn ein /de angehangen wird klappt alles. ???
Shit der Fehler ist schonmal aufgetreten, und auch damals hab ich den Grund nicht gefunden, und der Fehler selber ist nur ein einziges mal bei mir selber aufgetaucht, war dann aber wieder weg.
Was ist denn, wenn du von der /de Seite, auf englisch klickst. Kommt derselbe Fehler, oder wird dann die Seite korrekt angezeigt? Was ist bei http://www.openmtbmap.org?
Von /de auf die Englische Seite ergibt den gleichen Fehler. Mit einem Fragezeichen hintendran geht es auch.
Heute hatte ich den Fehler aber noch nicht.
Okay, hab Gestern den Server mal neugestartet. Meld dich einfach wieder, wenns nochmal auftritt. Wobei außer neustarten fällt mir nichts ein leider (hap memory limit von php nochmal hochgesetzt, aber glaube kaum dass es daran lag).

Es hilft aber immer eine Aktualisierung der Leitung mit "STRG + F5"

Well, 7zip/lzma should work, but it doesn’t – at least over here on kubuntu 10.04.
Tried p7zip 9.04 & 9.13 (beta) => “Error => Can not open file as archive”
and lzma (4.32.0beta3 didn’t check for newer version) => “unlzma: Decoder error”
Using wine and the windows 7z.exe I could decompress the same files just fine, but that’s imho a kinda nasty solution.
Ups, I agree. That should not happen. Have you tried renaming to .7z instead of .exe before unpacking?
I’ll try around a bit too, if I don’t get it to work, I’ll go back to the old format. (I would not have changed, were it not for the need to rename .7z to .7t.zip as the server blocks .7z as download).
Sorry, should’ve mentioned: renaming to 7z.zip / lzma wasn’t of any help.
Renaming the files from .exe to .7z wasn’t any real help on a Mac. Betterzip (which is perfectly well capable of 7-zip) opens the zip but shows the allready opened zip-file again as content.

I used to extract the content from the .7z files with the program 7zr.
BUT, as per the man page:
7zr handles less archive formats than 7z.
7zr is a “light-version” of 7za that only handles 7z archives.
So, 7z is the solution:
