Polilíneas (carreteras y similares):
Explicación: Hay cuatro representaciones en total. Sin embargo, en cuanto a los colores, "thin", "wide" y "clas" son iguales. Sólo difieren en la anchura de las líneas para ajustarse mejor a los diversos modelos de GPS. La representación para MapSource/QlandkarteGT (que identificaré como "trad" de aquí en adelante) usa colores diferentes, con menor contraste. Por lo tanto en esta leyenda del mapa para las polilíneas siempre habrá dos ejemplos. Uno usando la representación "trad" (arriba), y la otra usando la representación "clas", en la parte inferior).
Por favor, dese cuenta (puesto que la pregunta es habitual) de que para elegir la representación de un elemento se tienen en cuenta no sólo el tipo de vía, sino también su inclinación y el material de su superficie. Si desea saber cuál es el parámetro más importante en cada caso, consulte el código fuente del fichero de estilo (consulte la FAQ).

Maybe a bit of a silly question, but in my downloaded map from France I see a lot of tracks with a dead end. At the end of the track I see a blue icon (with white arrow) icon “Way Continues”. What are the characteristics of this point? Does this mean it isn’t a dead end? Please explain.
This means, the way continues – but no-one mapped it in OSM so far. Adventure ahead

well not really. The map legend is not in any language at all right now, but showing the OSM tags, well and they are in English. (except for some abbreviations).
Ich bin durch den Wildwuchs an keys etwas verwirrt.
Es geht um “Xbk –bicycle=no”
Verstehe ich das richtig:
1) Es existiert bei openmaps ein key bicycle
2) Wenn dieses no ist, wird in openmtb maps ein key Xbk gesetzt?
es gibt in openstreetmap den key bicycle=no, und ja, wenn der gesetzt wird, wird xbk an den Namen angehängt

Ein Weg, der für ein Rad nicht befahrbar ist, kann aber durchaus für ein MTB fahrbar sein.
Welche dieser keys (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=DE:Mountain_biking§ion=3#Generelle_Tags_spezifisch_zum_MTBiken) muß ich nun in JOSM MINDESTENS hinzufügen, damit sie dann in openmtbmaps verwertbar und wegs als für MTB befahrbar gelten?
Ich vermute mtb:scale ist VERPFLICHTEND um alt MTB tauglich zu gelten, alle anderen (mtb:scale:uphill; mtb:description; mtb:scale:imba , …) sind OPTIONAL.

bicycle=no sagt nur aus, dass Fahrradfahren explizit (also durch Schilder) verboten ist. Mit Tauglichkeit hat das nichts zu tun.
MTB Tauglichkeit am besten via mtb:scale, und optional mtb:scale:uphill & incline. Dazu werden natürlich noch zig andere Tags beachtet..
Alles klar. Dann mach ich mich an die Arbeit. Hier in Graz sind einige Tracks nicht verzeichnet, verwildert oder falsch.
Ich sehe auf den Karten bezeichnungen die ich in der Legende nicht finde zb m13 PTh m24 trk was bedeutet das kann ich da fahren ????

Ich habe aber auch eine Frage zur Legende (bin Anfänger):
Muß ich die wirklich runterladen und mit Mapsource auf mein Navi (Dakota 20) laden? Kann ich die Legende denn überhaupt anschließend auf dem Navi sehen?

Du kannst die Legende auch in Mapsource anschauen. Wenn du sehen willst wie sie am GPS ausschaut, ja dann musst du sie ans GPS senden (und per POI Suchen finden). Brauchen tuts die Legende natürlich nicht. Weder in Mapsource noch am GPS. Die Screenshots hier, sind aber immer leicht veraltet.
