(note while you can choose to use the same layout on your GPS, it is recommended to use one of the 3 GPS layouts with higher contrast as they are easier to read with bad light conditions):<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note that the OpenMTBMap is a vector map that is drawn realtime on your PC\/GPS. While raster maps are handdrawn and you would need one map for every resolution, vector maps are drawn realtime by your GPS\/PC. This means that things like labels or density of streets\/ways may be too much or too low. Note you can still zoom in closer without quality degradation of course. (am GPS kann man zwar dasselbe Layout w\u00e4hlen, aber es macht mehr Sinn ein hochkontrastlayout im Installer auszuw\u00e4hlen, um bei schlechten Lichtbedingungen schnell und sicher die Karte zu erkennen).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vergleichen muss man dies mit anderen Vektorkarten. Nicht Rasterkarten. Vektorkarten werden aus den Daten realtime am GPS\/PC gerendert, und daher sind gewisse Details wie etwa die Dichte von Labels und Beschriftungen nie so optimal wie bei einer handgezeichneten Rasterkarte. Daf\u00fcr ist die Karte drehbar, frei zoombar, und routingf\u00e4hig auf allen Wegen.
