In reply to B. gmapsupp.img version you mean? Maybe you have too many maps on your device? There is a limit 8-10 or so.

The maps work OK but the contour lines do not for all three above.

Hi Ricciardo, I assume you use Mac OSx? You forgot to unpack mtbeuropefiles.7z – in the tutorial this is step 2ab) (also read 2a on how to do it:

Mac OSx – OpenMTBMap Beginners Guide

You cannot join maps of seperate countries. Also note you will likely need the non unicode version to send it to your device. You can send all three maps to your device – but if you activate all three – they will overlap with empty area around the borders into each other.

Hi Felix, I need to be able to use the maps of three countries on my Garmin Base Camp:
Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, and maybe even Kosovo.
I need to change the map after downloading them and installing them on BC.
Is it possible to merge the three files so I always have them all?

I tried downloading the Europe map, but it doesn’t work; it only seems to show the main roads.

What do you recommend? Thanks.

In reply to waltercapraro. As the Enduro 3 has a MIP diplay, use the Fenix layout (or does it have more than 64 colors?). Sending as with others on Mac needs installing the MTP driver.

In reply to extremecarver. Ich hab nur die Höhenlinien für ganz Europa installiert, keine einzelnen Länder. Evtl. versuch ich mal statt der Europakarte nur die benötigten Höhenlinien der jeweiligen Länder zu installieren, vielleicht bringt das was. Ok, das Problem mit MTB/Velo Maps für ein Land hatte ich tatsächlich noch nie. Und ja beim Profil Rennrad hab ich die MTB Karte natürich deaktiviert, die Velo Karte dafür bei 2 anderen Profilen für Gravel und Pendeln zb, da ich da auch gern mal Schotter fahre. Spannend. :D

Hmm, sehr komisch – ich muss es mal bei mir am 1040 probieren – ich nutze normalerweise immer die Karten mit Höhenlinien integriert – gesendet via MapInstall. Climb Pro funktioniert sowohl beim einfachen vorbeifahren als auch mit aktiviertem Routing. Das mit Addresssuche bei zwei Karten der gleichen Gegend kann passieren – vor allem wenn eine Karte deaktviert ist – wenn das Gerät die deaktvierte Karte zur Suche nimmt statt der aktiven. Wann das passiert ist Zufall.
Wenn 2xmal Höhenlinien installiert sind – kann sein das dies Probleme macht. Also entweder die Europa Höhenlinien oder die Länder – aber nicht beide.
