Have a look at the map_legend to see most objects that the openmtbmap.org displays.
Notice the mtb:scale Overlay and the purple route=mtb
Notice the distint drinking water supplies
Zoom out far to get an overview of route=mtb and route=bicycle

Hello extremecarver
thanks alot for the great maps. I’ve only used them a few times but so far to great effect!
What I seem unable to do is to search for “drinking water” on the GPS.
Even if I “go near an amenity=drinking_water” I can’t “find” it via POI-Search?
I tried drinking, drinking_water, water -> no success. I can see the POI’s in the map if i’m “close enouth”
but I would really like to find ones that may be further away.
Am I doing something wrong?

Lad mal aktuelle Karten runter. Die Screenshots sind noch veraltet. Inzwischen ist Wald der hellste Darstellbare Gruenton (bezogen auf die alten 256 Farbdisplays wie bei etrex und gpsmap Geraeten).
Hoi Extremcarver,
ich dachte, das der Wald nur auf meinem Oregon zu dunkel dargestellt wäre und daher die Wege schlecht zu erkennen, aber hier am Bildschirm ist es genauso dunkel. Das ist mein einziger (Kritik-) Punkt. Ansonsten – phantastisch !!!
